Find A Florist

MFA Scholarship Program

Since 2002, the MFA Scholarship Program has awarded more than $34,000 in scholarships. Every dollar given to this program is essential to our overall goal of continuing education. The scholarships can be used at our Great Lakes Floral Expo (GLFE), the MFA Professional Education Center, or to purchase materials to become a Certified Florist. The award winners have 18 months to use their scholarship, or the funds are rolled back into the MFA scholarship fund.

The Silent Auction - held each year at the GLFE - isour main source of fundraising for the scholarship program. Pleaseconsider starting your support of this beneficial program by makingalist of items to donate to our auction. In the past, we have had a greatvariety of materials: jewelry, hand- made bags, shawls, photographs, home décor, one-of-a-kind art pieces, weekend golf and concert packages, pottery, glass- ware, permanent botanicals, books, baskets.
